Do you think the smiles will be that big on Saturday?

Could it really be....

William is 3!

My baby is growing up. I look at this sweet kid everyday and think we almost missed out on him.

I am so glad that after waiting 7 years we got to have this awesome kid. He is such and joy and everyone at this house adores him.

Happy Birthday Will! I love you!

Barlow Reunion 2009

We had so much fun last weekend playing with my family. It was my turn to plan the reunion so we decided to make it simple and have everyone come out this way and go to Pineview for a fun beach day.
Here is Jason taking a break from it all and just lounging on the beach.
Corinne caught a fish while playing in the water. If you look really close you can see it in her had. It was really tiny but she thought it was amazing that she was able to catch a fish with her bare hands.
Some friends in our ward have Kayaks and we borrowed them and took them all over the lake. The kids really enjoyed it. William was scared to get in but Jason finally talked him into it and then just pulled him around in the shallow water.
William finally crashed on Jason's lap eating chips. As you can see he still has a hold of a chip in both hands.
The day before Pineview we walked up to Farmington Pond and fed the ducks. The kids were all crazy but had fun.
Corinne in a kayak.

Whitney in a kayak.

Ben in a kayak!

Sadie hanging with Aunt Drina.

We all had a great time and I can't wait to borrow the kayaks and go somewhere else. It was lots of fun.

Sunday Sleepies

You know how Sunday's are. All you want to do when you get home from church is sleep. I am trying to get William off his nap so he will go to bed at a decent hour. Well today he just couldn't take any more of it.
(Notice the undies? Any tips for going #2. He has the potty thing other than that.)
After sleeping like this for a half hour he woke up a little scared so Dad picked him up to snuggle him for a minute.
Then this is what happened.

Ben is 15!

I am a couple of weeks late on posting this but only because Ben wouldn't let me take his picture. I finally got his wonderful Aunt to take it at the fireworks. (thanks Mim)

It is hard for me to believe that I could have a son who is 15. He is such an awesome kid and I can't complain. He is so helpful and kind and always wanting to be with his little brother and sister. He has a wonderful imagination that he has had since he was born. I look back at all the things he has done to make be proud and I get all teary.

• Band, super french horn player.
• Overcoming speaking in public fear
• Funny and fun
• Crazy card player
• Super big brother
• Great in School
• Sticks to his values
• Proud to be different
• Excellent car driver (when we are stuck in the mud)

Ben you rock and I love you. Don't change! Always be proud of who you are!
