Ben had the best assignment for his geography class. Try some seafood you have never had before or haven't had in a long time. Yeah, an excuse to cook salmon. Salmon is one of my favorite foods. I order it anytime I go out to eat. I buy it when it is on sale savor every bite. I have the best recipe for cooking it and it only takes 10 minutes. Yum!
I have always tried to get Ben to eat it but he never would. Whitney, my try anything kid, also loves salmon.

As we sat for dinner last night, with this lovely piece of fish, Corinne is freaking out. I kept getting
"What am I going to have for dinner."
I say,
"Fish."
Cry, Cry, Cry.
"Can't I just have Ramen Noodles?"
"No, you get to try the salmon."
Ben kept saying
"I don't know about this but here goes."
He puts the tiniest bite in his mouth.
"Hmmmm." Pause......"That's pretty good. Kind of fruity."
We ended the night with even Corinne trying some saying it was okay but she wouldn't eat it on a regular bases.
Thanks Mr. Sill, for making my kids try something new.
Update:
A little update about my crazy, stressed out, late night post of needing a job. Yes, I still need to make some money but I am not getting a job. As I looked at my options I realized that the answer is right under my nose and I already do it. So today I headed up to a couple of offices in my area and book some Cookie Lee office shows. I can't wait. Cookie Lee and Lunch, what could be better.
I am still interested in doing some things on the side like, yes Becky, I would love to sew for you. I also have my
Cozy Carseats covers if anyone wants one of those.
It may be a stressful time for us but we will get through and my kids will still have a mom.
Anyone want to buy a cute 2004 Mazada 3?
